A volunteer mission team will leave Calgary on July 16th 2010. They will spend 2 weeks working in Harbu Chulule, the main project site for Hopethiopia, working on issues such as: Education and leadership training, orphan assistance,sports camps, building a library, painting the health centre, developing the north project site, reforestation, community development etc.
Wayne King and Sisay Abera have just arrived in Ethiopia to work on a few significant projects for Hopethiopia. They will finalize the details for obtaining out iNGO status as well as work on plans for developing the brick making facility, agricultural garden, and the north site reforestation nursery.
Towards the end of May 2010 a new mission development team, including Wayne King and Sisay Abera will be arriving in Ethiopia to start a number of projects. Developing the initial north tree nursery site will be a priority as well as completeing the iNGO application procedure.
