Melaku, one of the co-founders and directors of Hopethiopia had the opportunity to visit the many project sites and contacts in Ethiopia. This time he was able to join his wife Selam in Ethiopia as well as spend some time with Pastor Workneh and family of Calgary, Canada.


As part of the support for the education programs in Ethiopia, Hopethiopia has been able to provide awards to the students of the High school (grades 9 and 10) and Preparatory school (grades 11 and 12). In an effort to assist with local transportation of people and goods Hopethiopia is working on plans to help local people set up a small business whereby they can use bicycles with sturdy mounted racks.
