The walls have now ben completed on the Volunteer guest home and now we have started the roof. This guest house will allow mission teams to live onsite in Harbu Chulule, Ethiopia and spend much more time interacting with the local community

First family

It is with great joy that we saw the first Hopethiopia sponsored family move into the Children’s Village in Harbu Chulule. Tirunesh and her 5 children are the first family to have been sponsored by Hopethiopia and they are now the first to occupy the new home.

Melaku, one of the co-founders and directors of Hopethiopia had the opportunity to visit the many project sites and contacts in Ethiopia. This time he was able to join his wife Selam in Ethiopia as well as spend some time with Pastor Workneh and family of Calgary, Canada.
